Pre-Kindergarten

Overview

In Pre-K, we foster creativity and imagination, while presenting academic learning to help children develop to their full potential. This gives them a strong academic foundation and a life long love of learning!

Children begin their days with a morning meeting and being gathered on the rug and going over the weather for the day and month. We move into language arts where we learn new letters and sounds. Students then have snack and recess before continuing on to religion, math, and then lunch followed by an additional outdoor recess. We then give the students a 50 minute rest period and end the day with discovery centers, which include an array of different subjects and includes specials like gym or music.

Ms. Caito grew up in Londonderry, NH before attending Keene State College to study English. She also has her Early Childhood Certification from Granite State College coupled with experience working as a paraprofessional. One of the things that separates CLA from other early childhood centers is our ability to get children accustomed to a full-day of school schedule. Our focus is on their academic learning and growth in order to best prepare them for kindergarten and elementary school programs.
