What a fun month October was for everyone! We learned about community helpers and the fall season. We visited the Fire Department across the street and learned all about fire safety, everyone was especially excited to see the fire truck. We all got to see inside the truck! We continue to work on shapes, numbers to 5, and colors. In Religion we have been talking about The Creation Story, the children worked hard on their books that they made to take home. I know that you enjoyed seeing their hard work. “Zero the Hero” visited our room on the twentieth and thirtieth day of school and again left some goodies for the children. They are looking forward to his next visit! Our Saint celebration was so much fun. The children really enjoyed dressing up and showing their costumes to everyone. We read a special book, made a snack, and played games. Thank you for the food donations everything was delicious. Just a reminder parents, when we work on the letter of the week; the children can bring in a show-and-tell and a picture to glue on their alphabet book.
